I'm Captain Sam, a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain and lifelong lover of the water. Whether you're stepping onto a sailboat for the very first time, searching for dolphins along the Emerald Coast, or looking to sharpen your sailing skills, my goal is simple: help you create memories you'll be talking about long after you return to shore.

At Sand & Sail with Captain Sam, we believe boating should be fun, approachable, and unforgettable. That's why every experience is designed with safety, comfort, and adventure in mind. From hands-on sailing instruction to family-friendly coastal cruises, each trip is tailored to the interests and experience level of the guests aboard.

As a Coast Guard Licensed Captain, safety is always my highest priority. As your host, my mission is to make sure everyone—from first-time sailors to seasoned boaters—feels welcome, comfortable, and excited to get out on the water.

Whether we're chasing sunsets under sail, spotting dolphins, sending treasures to the sea via the Mermaid Mailbox, exploring local sandbars, or simply enjoying a beautiful day on the bay, you'll find that the best adventures are often the ones shared with family and friends.
